About The Lab

Our Mission

SecurityRadarX operates as an independent adversarial testing laboratory. Our mandate is singular: cut through vendor marketing claims and deliver empirical, reproducible findings on real-world threat performance.

We focus on three high-stakes domains where consumer deception is most acute — AI-driven social engineering and deepfake scam vectors, gaming environment performance integrity under zero-lag conditions, and dark web exposure and botnet vulnerability mapping. If a product claims to stop it, we attempt to break it.

The Methodology: How We Test

All evaluations are conducted under controlled, repeatable lab conditions. Our testing framework applies three core vectors:

  • Simulated Deepfake & AI Scam Attacks — We deploy synthetic voice cloning, AI-generated phishing lures, and adversarial identity spoofing to assess detection accuracy and false-negative rates across security suites.
  • FPS Drop & Gaming Performance Monitoring — Real-time frame-rate telemetry is captured during concurrent background scanning operations across standardized hardware configurations. Any measurable latency degradation is recorded and penalized in scoring.
  • Dark Web Botnet & Credential Exposure Tracking — We seed controlled test identities across known dark web marketplaces and breach forums, then measure whether monitored security products detect, alert, and respond within acceptable timeframes.

Each product is scored against a fixed rubric. Vendor documentation is never accepted as a substitute for observed behavior.

Our Independence

SecurityRadarX purchases all software licenses independently using laboratory funds. We do not accept complimentary licenses, sponsored test units, or vendor-provided hardware as a condition of review.

No paid placements exist on this site. Affiliate relationships, where present, are disclosed prominently and do not influence test methodology, scoring weights, or editorial conclusions. A product’s commercial relationship with this lab — or absence of one — has zero bearing on its published rating.

Our analysts are required to complete testing and submit findings before any monetization status for a given product is determined by editorial management.
